CTS Foundation acknowledges that security and privacy are important issues for visitors to our web site (the “Site”) and recognizes our obligations to keep your information secure and confidential.

The following Privacy Policy (“Policy”) details the standards CTS Foundation uses to help protect information that personally identifies you. We may modify this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) at any time and without notice. For the purpose of this Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to CTS Foundation, and its parent company, Tall Oak Learning, LLC (collectively “CTS Foundation”) and the terms “you” and “your” refers to you as a user of this Site.

You may be asked to voluntarily provide your name, address, phone number, email address or other personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) to have access to some features of the Site. Additionally, if you send us an email, we will record the email address from which you send your message. You may always refuse to provide your Personal Information however, this may lead to our inability to provide you with certain offerings, services or products.

CTS Foundation will generally use Personal Information collected on this Site to contact you in response to your inquiries, to provide services requested by you, to alert you to changes in services, and to provide you with requested information regarding us or our services. We may also provide newsletters or bulletins. By submitting your email address on the Site, you agree to receive materials from us by a variety of methods including phone (both mobile and home, dialed manually or automatically), email, mail, and text message. Calls may be monitored or recorded for quality assurance.

CTS Foundation may work with associated businesses which may perform certain functions on our behalf, such as sending email messages, managing data, processing credit card payments or providing services to users. These businesses have access to your Personal Information only to the extent necessary to perform these specific functions and may not use it for any other purpose.

If CTS Foundation is involved in the sale of a substantial portion of its business assets, Anonymous or Personal Information may be among the transferred assets. We reserve the right to transfer any Personal Information, Anonymous Information, or any other information you disclose to us to any successor to our business in whole or in part, whether by merger, corporate consolidation, sale of assets, or otherwise.

Privacy of Children

We strictly adhere to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and will not knowingly collect, use or disclose Personal Information from any child under the age of 13 in any manner that violates this law, and no part of our Site is structured to attract anyone under 13.

Opt-Out of Email Advertising

In the event you do not wish to receive promotional email from CTS Foundation, follow the opt-out instructions contained within the body of any email message you receive.

California Privacy Rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents who have provided personal information to us or our third-party advertisers and marketing partners, if any, to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes. The request should be submitted via email to compliance@CareerTrainingScholarshipFoundation.org. Within thirty days of receiving such a request, we will provide a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, if any, along with the names and addresses of these third parties, if any. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year.

International Users

This Site is hosted in the United States and is intended for and directed to users in the United States. If you are accessing the Site from the European Union, Asia, or any other region with laws or regulations governing personal data collection, use, and disclosure, that differ from United States laws, please be advised that through your continued access and use of this website (which is governed by U.S. law, this Privacy Notice, and our Terms of Use) you are transferring your personally identifiable information to the United States and you consent to that transfer.
